Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD)

Postpartum Support International (PSI)

PSI is the leading authority on Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The word perinatal refers to the period of pregnancy and the first year of the child's life. Of course you have probably heard of postpartum depression and maybe even postpartum anxiety. Most women don't know that PMAD can also present during pregnancy as well. If you think you might be experiencing symptoms of a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder, reach out and we can connect you with help. There is a strong community in Buffalo looking to provide care to women in need. This link will send you to the FAQ page of the PSI website. While there check out the 'Learn More' tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page where you will find more information about specific topics.
